Kristoffer Reitan vinner Truist Championship

What a week for Kristoffer and Norwegian golf.

Seeing Kristoffer Reitan win on the PGA Tour is incredibly special. On behalf of everyone in NextUp Golf Team, I’m extremely proud and happy for Kristoffer.

I’ve seen the amount of work, sacrifices, ups and downs that have gone into this. That’s why it’s so cool to see him break through on the biggest stage in golf. His third win in 12 months is just fantastic. 

Kristoffer is now the next big success story from NextUp after Viktor Hovland. Two Norwegian players showing the younger generation that it’s possible to compete and win at the very highest level.

I really believe results like this will inspire a lot of young players in Norway. Recruitment, motivation, belief — seeing someone from your own environment make it.

That is a big part of what we are trying to build in NextUp. A culture where the players chair experiences, back each other up, dream big, work hard and see a real pathway forward.

Norwegian golf is in a very exciting place right now, and Kristoffer’s win is another huge moment for the sport in Norway.

Congratulations Kristoffer, very well deserved.
